Rockdale County Founding Pilot

East Metro AI + Workforce Readiness

The founding pilot is designed to connect residents to practical AI skills, career exploration, training and employer pathways without duplicating the workforce, education or community systems already serving Rockdale County. PUF provides the connective education and activation layer, working with existing institutions and partners.

Workforce Readiness

Career awareness, technical skills, soft skills, credentials and concrete next steps into training and employment.

Industry Pathways

Advanced manufacturing, healthcare, mobility, retail, logistics and other high-opportunity sectors.

Family & Community Access

Accessible pathways for youth, adults, families, returning workers and community members.

Founding partner pathways

Different organizations contribute in different ways.

Founding status is confirmed only after an agreed substantive contribution. An invitation does not imply a current commitment.

Industry & Employers

Career insight, speakers, demonstrations, employee engagement, work-based learning and employment pathways.

Education & Training

Credentials, advising, technical education, student/family access and postsecondary pathways.

Healthcare & Community

Career exposure, responsible technology, community benefit, volunteers and participant resources.

Sites & Access

Welcoming locations, communications, accessibility coordination and safe community implementation.

Pilot discipline

Start focused. Measure. Improve. Scale.

Deliver

Run controlled, accessible learning experiences with clear roles and outcomes.

Measure

Track participation, learning confidence, pathway connections, partner feedback and next-step conversion.

Improve & Scale

Use evidence from the founding pilot to refine the model before expanding to additional sites or communities.

Governed implementation

PUF mission delivery with clear partnership and IP boundaries.

Community Connections™ is a People United Foundation initiative. The PUF Community Alliance may serve as a partnership and distribution channel for appropriate programming; it is not a separate operating system. Any use of third-party or separately governed creative or educational IP is subject to the applicable permission or licensing boundary.

Next step

Start with a 20–30 minute exploratory conversation.

We will identify the highest-value role, audience and pilot contribution. No full event commitment is required on the first conversation, and participation is not contingent on another organization joining.
