Rockdale County Founding Pilot
East Metro AI + Workforce Readiness
The founding pilot is designed to connect residents to practical AI skills, career exploration, training and employer pathways without duplicating the workforce, education or community systems already serving Rockdale County. PUF provides the connective education and activation layer, working with existing institutions and partners.
Practical, responsible use of AI and digital tools for school, work, business and everyday life.
Career awareness, technical skills, soft skills, credentials and concrete next steps into training and employment.
Advanced manufacturing, healthcare, mobility, retail, logistics and other high-opportunity sectors.
Accessible pathways for youth, adults, families, returning workers and community members.
Who it serves
Designed for broad community access.
Delivery may include live workshops, school and community sessions, hybrid participation and livestream access. Each pilot activation is scoped for the audience, site, facilitator capacity, technology, accessibility, privacy and safety requirements.
Founding partner pathways
Different organizations contribute in different ways.
Founding status is confirmed only after an agreed substantive contribution. An invitation does not imply a current commitment.
Career insight, speakers, demonstrations, employee engagement, work-based learning and employment pathways.
Credentials, advising, technical education, student/family access and postsecondary pathways.
Career exposure, responsible technology, community benefit, volunteers and participant resources.

Community Connections™ is a People United Foundation initiative. The PUF Community Alliance may serve as a partnership and distribution channel for appropriate programming; it is not a separate operating system. Any use of third-party or separately governed creative or educational IP is subject to the applicable permission or licensing boundary.
